A delicious way to get eat your veggies!
Before you start, wash the green beans and snap off any stems.
Heat the butter and oil over medium heat in a good-sized fry pan. Once melted, add the green beans to the pan and toss them in the butter and oil mix. Allow them to cook until brown and slightly puckered along the edges.
While the green beans cook, toast almond slices on low heat in a pan for about 2 minutes, until slightly fragrant. Stir occasionally so that they do not burn.
Next, add the almonds to the green beans and combine well. Season with salt and red pepper flakes to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
