Description

Roasted green beans that taste like french fries!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil, Or Olive Oil Spray
  • ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425F.

Add green beans to a bowl and drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil on them. Mix with your hands to coat each green bean. Lay them on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping once during cooking.

Serving size will vary based on size of beans and how much one can eat… we can easily devour half a pound each.

This sounds great!

I do this with cauliflower cut in half inch thick slices (scoop up all the bits that break off too, they get nice & crunchy). I usually add garlic powder also (not garlic salt).

I’ll try it with beans just after we consume the humongous cauliflower (on sale — 2 for 1 — huge!).

Should have listened and bought more green beans – we devoured these! Great alternative to fries!

These are awesome and a nice healthy finger food to serve with burgers. I can eat a tray of them myself.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of green beans, but they looked so good at the farmers market that I just had to buy a bunch. So glad I found this recipe…I think I love green beans now!

Very good! So many possible variations with different veggies and different seasonings too! Kids and adults all loved this one in my house. Great recipe!
