Description

You’ll never go back to steaming again! Roasted broccoli with some yummy spices and good ol’ extra virgin olive oil…unbelievably good! This is also great with frozen stir fry veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Chopped Fresh Or Frozen Broccoli
  • 1 whole Yellow Pepper, Sliced (Can Substitute Orange Or Red)
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ Tablespoons Steak Seasoning (I Prefer McCormicks Montreal)
  • 1 dash Chili Powder
  • Garlic Powder, To Taste
  • Salt And Pepper, To Taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375′

On a cookie sheet or shallow dish, spread broccoli and pepper slices and drizzle olive oil. Toss to coat.

Sprinkle with steak seasoning, chili powder, garlic powder and salt & pepper to taste.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until desired tenderness. I like to broil for the last few minutes to help blacken just slightly.

My husband freaks out when I make this. He definitely gets all of his daily servings of vegetables when I make it. Thanks for the great recipe!

I have been in the veggie roasting school of thought for ages but noticed your seasonings were a bit different so I had to try and it was very good. I added a red onion cut in wedges to the mix. I usually just do the olive oil, lemon pepper and some salt and sometimes a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Thanks for a twist that worked for me…! Loved it.

We recently discovered the beauty of roasting our broccoli and my kids can down a whole head as if it were popcorn. I love this version of roasted broccoli.
