Description

The Perfect Pinto!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Dry Pinto Beans
  • 1 whole Hunk Of Bacon Or Salt Pork
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Oregano
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Comino
  • ½ teaspoons Paprika
  • ½ teaspoons White Pepper

Preparation

Soak beans overnight.

Combine ingredients. Cook on high pressure for 50 minutes. Allow pressure to come down naturally.

Can be made w/o a pressure cooker by simmering soaked beans over low heat for about 2 hours or until tender.

Beans out of a pressure cooker are really just that tasty. I wouldn’t do them any other way when I want them good and cooked.
