Description

This is the best way to get my kids to eat green beans!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen Green Beans
  • ¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1 cup Lemon Pepper Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 2 cups (approximate) Vegetable Oil For Frying

Preparation

In a deep skillet add about 1 inch of vegetable oil and heat to about 350 degrees F.

Rinse green beans in hot water just until thawed. Dry with paper towels. Dredge each green bean in flour, dip in egg and roll in panko. Place on a plate or cookie sheet until oil is hot.

Fry a few green beans in the hot oil at time, turning to brown on all sides. Remove to a paper lined plate to drain while you continue with the rest of the beans.
Enjoy!
Miss

Just bought lemon flavored panko bread crumbs last week and I love green beans. I’m going to go with fresh green beans though. Can’t wait to try these!
