Description

Italian Fried Cauliflower: so easy to make and so tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2-½ cups Breadcrumbs
  • 4 cups Cooking Oil Of Choice

Preparation

1. Wash cauliflower and dry thoroughly; cut into smaller chunks, about 1.5 inches or so.
2. Preheat oil to 350 degrees F.
3. Coat cauliflower pieces in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
4. Gently place breaded pieces in hot oil, cook until browned.
5. Remove from oil with slotted spoon, place on a plate lined with paper towel.

I love this! My mom made this for us as kids. I always knew what it was but she told my brother it was “fried chicken.” LOL! Will make it soon.

Try adding some grated parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs….delicious!
Thanks for sharing, I use to make fried cauliflower often,, your recipe reminded me of what I have been missing!
