Mix sugar and flour in mixing bowl; add the pineapple and cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased 2-quart pan. Crush crackers and add melted butter to them. Pour this mixture over the pineapple and cheese mixture.
Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes or until golden brown, or you may broil to crisp the top faster.
