Description

Simple and easy to make .One of the most delicious dishes.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE POTATOES:
  • 7 ounces, weight Baby Potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoons White Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
  • ¼ Tablespoons Oregano Powder
  • 1 cup, 2-⅔ teaspoons, ⅞ pinches Coconut Oil For Fring

  • FOR THE BATTER:
  • 2 Tablespoons Gram Flour
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt, Or To Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Plain Flour
  • 3 tablespoons, 1 teaspoon, 2-⅓ pinches Water

Preparation

Rinse the potatoes. Drop the potatoes into a large pot. Boil abut 10 minutes or until done but not breaking up. Wash with cool water, peel the skin and prick the potatoes with a fork. Set them aside.

Next put chili powder, white pepper, oregano and salt in to a medium bowl. Mix well. Combine with the potatoes and mix well. Set aside about 30 minutes.

Make the batter. Put the gram flour, salt, and plain flour into a bowl. Mix thoroughly and add the water to make a thick batter.

Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan. Coat each potato with enough batter and then deep fry till light brown.

Serve hot with tomato sauce. Enjoy.
