Description

Warning: After tasting this, you will never buy the jarred stuff again!

Ingredients

  • 10 whole Apples, Cored, Peeled And Sliced
  • ¼ cups Sugar, More Or Less To Taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon, More Or Less To Taste
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ⅓ cups Water

Preparation

Stir together all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until desired texture is attained.

Serve warm or cool. Try this warm over Vanilla Ice Cream for a special treat!

I made applesauce last week and my son ate enough to put an orchard out of business! I didn’t even get a chance to can any for later. The recipe was almost identical, so I know it’s a great one :)

I just made homemade applesauce yesterday with a similar recipe. I definitley won’t go back to store bought ever again. Look forward to trying this version too!
