Description

Delicious and easy to make, these green beans are flavored with olive oil, oregano, and tomatoes for a fresh taste!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces, weight Haricots Verts Or Green Beans, Canned Or Fresh
  • 14-½ ounces, fluid Can Of Diced Tomatoes, Or 2 Large Tomatoes, Diced
  • ½ cups Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

In a large pot, combine the green beans, tomatoes, water, olive oil, oregano, lemon juice, and salt and pepper.

Cover the pot, and cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until the green beans are tender (about 30-35 minutes).

Sprinkle with additional lemon juice if desired, and enjoy!
