Description

These are delicious, cheater baked beans. I never have time to cook them overnight. These are done from start to finish in under an hour.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (16 Oz. Can) Bush's Baked Beans (1 Can Honey, 1 Can Original)
  • 4 Tablespoons Spicy Brown Mustard
  • ½ cups A1 Texas Mesquite Marinade
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • 8 slices Center-cut Bacon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and then pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. While the beans are baking, cook the bacon until crisp; cool and cut into little pieces. After 20 minutes of baking, sprinkle the bacon over beans and cook for an additional 10 to 15 minutes more until bubbling and gooey.

I have made these beans twice and my family loved them both times. A good quick go to side dish for the after work meal frenzy. This recipe dresses up canned baked beans nicely. Thanks for sharing Stephanie .

I brought these to my in-laws for Memorial Day and everyone loved them. A good balance of sweetness.
