This is a must have recipe…a keeper! They turn out perfect every time and with a quick broil the tops get a little crusty, which is very yummy!

Wow!! These are amazing. My husband now LOVES sweet potatoes. I have never been able to get him to eat them before!

I thought these were good! Unfortunately I didn’t have the right chili powders and subbed in what I had, so I’m looking forward to trying them when I have the right ingredients.

SO SO SO good I could eat the whole pan! I used canned sweet potatoes because that’s all I had. I want to make them again for dinner tomorrow!

I had forwarded this recipe to my mom and sister since we all love the regular-potato version – and they both managed to try them before me! After hearing how much they liked them, I made them last night. We all LOVED this recipe!

Just made these with some lonely sweet potatoes I’ve had on my counter. This is a YUMMY recipe! My husband even asked for seconds!!
I didn’t have the 2 different kinds of chili powder so I just used what I had in the cabinet. Still turned out great, I thought.
Can’t wait to heat up the left overs for lunch tomorrow!

just made these tonight – yum! everyone loved the unique flavor combination of the spices. i boiled my potatoes a little bit longer (i like them super tender) and only seasoned one side, but next time i may try both sides.
thanks for sharing this!

We started making our normal sweet potato fries when I remembered this recipe. We had already cut the fries, but not spiced them, so I tried the mixture in this recipe.
HOLY COW! My fiance said he liked it better than our normal cumin + salt seasoning on them. We are going to make these again as fries AND will be trying the actual recipe VERY soon!

I made these last night and they were delicious! Some of the slices crumbled slightly when I mashed them but I still used them and they turned out fine…so delicious! A great way to spice up sweet potatoes!

Thought I’d let you know these went over great at our Tex-Mex Christmas feast, though I sliced thinner and layered (no smashing) to save room as I had to triple the recipe. Thank you for the great recipe and hope your holidays are going joyously.

Fixed these last night with our traditional New Year’s Meal….Black-eyed peas, turnip greens and corn muffins..if the meal is any indication of what 2010 will be like….it is going to be glorious!!!
The Crash Hot Sweet Potatoes made the meal!! Absolutely delicious!!
