Description

This is one of my favorite side dishes—so much better than regular ole’ coleslaw! :)

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Oil
  • 6 Tablespoons Red (or Rice) Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 package Ramen Noodles (discard Seasoning)
  • ½ cups Slivered Almonds
  • 1 package Coleslaw
  • 1 bunch Green Onions, Chopped

Preparation

Crunch ramen noodles in the bag. Toast noodles with almonds at 350 degrees until light brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. (I usually just pop ‘em in the toaster oven and hit ‘toast’, and they turn out perfect.)

Mix coleslaw with green onions.

Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and pepper separately. (It’s easiest to just put them in a tightly sealed container and shake until well mixed.)

Mix coleslaw, almonds, and ramen. When ready to serve, pour desired amount of dressing onto the coleslaw and mix. Enjoy!
