Description

A delicious alternative to those plain old fries.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450 F. Cut potatoes into french fry strips.

In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of dried basil, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix it all together.

Add sweet potato fries to the bowl and mix to coat them with the mixture.

Lay a sheet of parchment paper in a baking pan and add fries.

Place pan in oven and set timer to 35 minutes. When the timer goes off, check your fries and make sure they are nice and crispy. If not, leave them in the oven until they have achieved your desired level of crispiness.
