Description

The best way to cook brown rice. It even reheats well using this method!

Ingredients

  • 2-½ cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1-½ cup Brown Rice, Short Or Medium Grain

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. In a small pot, boil water with butter and salt.
3. Place rice in a square (9×9 or 8×8) glass baking dish.
4. Pour boiling water over rice, stir with a fork.
5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
6. Fluff with a fork before serving.

This was a great method for brown rice! I will definitely be using this again and again!!

(I added one chicken bouillion cube to the water before pouring it over the rice… yummm!)
