Description

A sweet but light mix of fruits and coconut sure to please. We serve this every Christmas and Thanksgiving, and its always a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz.) Pineapple Tidbits, Well Drained
  • 2 jars (10 Oz.) Marchino Cherries, No Stems, Well Drained, Quartered
  • 2 whole Red Delicious Apples (medium Size), Cored And Medium Chopped
  • 3 whole Bananas, Peeled And Medium Chopped
  • 1 cup Pecans, Chopped
  • 1 cup Sweetened Coconut
  • 1 bag Mini Marshmallows (10 Oz.), 1 C. Reserved
  • 1 tub Whipped Topping (16 Oz.), Thawed
  • Additional Pecans And Coconut For Decoration

Preparation

Make sure that cherries and pineapple are both drained very well.

Put all ingredients except reserved marshmallows and additional pecans and coconut into a large bowl and mix together – no particular order is needed.

In a separate bowl, mix together reserved marshmallows, and additional pecans and coconut, spreading mixture on top of salad for decoration.

Chill in refrigerator if not serving immediately.
