Description

A hearty Italian-style main dish salad with a little of everything!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Small Shell Pasta (8 Oz Size), Cooked According To Package Directions
  • 1 bag (12oz.) Iceberg Lettuce (or 1/2 Head, Chopped)
  • 8 strips Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled
  • 2 cups Chicken Breast, Cooked And Finely Chopped
  • 1 bunch Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1 whole Large Tomato, Chopped (2 If Small)
  • 4 ounces, weight Blue Cheese Or Gorgonzola, Crumbled
  • 1 bottle Zesty Italian Dressing
  • Salt And Pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with just enough Italian dressing to coat lightly; salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately or within 24 hours.

**By the way…
I have also made these as an appetizer or finger food for party’s. Instead of using the box of small shell pasta, I made the jumbo shell pasta (according to package directions and using a little olive oil to prevent sticking) and stuffed them with the salad. It was a fun change of pace!

YUM! Chopped salad is my favorite! The Twin City Grill at the MOA has the best around. This looks delicious. I will definitely be giving it a try when I need my fix!
