Description

This combines all the best flavors in one big pasta salad!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 Oz. Can) Drained Tuna
  • ½ pounds Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 whole Apples, Diced
  • 2 whole Hard Boiled Eggs, Diced
  • 2 whole Stalks Of Celery, Diced
  • 1 whole Small Onion, Diced
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas, Thawed
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Water Chestnuts, Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

I was looking for something “no meat” to make for my Catholic husband during Lent. I came across this and had all the ingredients in the house. Perfect! I have to tell you that I was skeptical about the apples, but pushed the “I believe” button and put them in. Oh my goodness, the round this salad out perfectly!!! Thank you so much…this will be going into my regular rotation!

This was great. A nice change. I went light on the mayo and added greek yogurt. I will definately make this again.
