Prep chicken and nuts ahead:
Boil chicken breast, cool, and cut into small cubes.
Toast nuts on a baking sheet for 3 minutes in a 350F oven.
Assembling salad:
Combine cubed chicken, chopped celery, onion, and cherries in a mixing bowl.
Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, lemon juice, and seasoning salt in a smaller mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
Pour salad dressing over chopped ingredients and fold together. Fold in toasted nuts.
Serve alone, or on bread. We really enjoy this salad on croissants. Delicious!
