Mandarin Salad

Description
This salad is will tickle your palate with a bit of sweet and spicy.
Ingredients
- ½ packages Sliced Almonds
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- ½ heads Iceberg Lettuce, Torn
- ½ heads Romaine Or Redleaf Lettuce
- 1 cup Celery, Chopped
- 2 whole Green Onions, Sliced
- 11 ounces, weight Mandarin Orange Slices, Drained

- DRESSING INGREDIENTS
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- ¼ cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley, Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
- 2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
Preparation
In a small skillet, toss almond slices in with 3 tablespoons sugar, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and almonds have browned (watch closely to prevent burning). Place on a plate to cool.
Toss both types of lettuce, celery, green onion slices, and mandarin orange slices together. Drizzle salad dressing over salad and serve.
To make the dressing, combine the dressing ingredients in a jar or sealable container, shake and chill prior to pouring over salad.
