Description

Healthy and delicious! Meat on salad is always a good joice if you’re trying to cut down on calories. I eat salad combined with beef, grilled chicken, tuna or feta cheese on a daily basis, either for lunch or for dinner. This salad is not only rich in vitamins and good for your body, but also a hot and spicy dish for warm spring days!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SALAD:
  • ½ pounds Salad Greens Of Your Choice
  • 1 whole Big Carrot
  • ¼ pounds Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 pound Grounded Beef
  • Canola Oil, To Cook The Meat
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Purée (optional)
  • Hot Sauce E.g. Sriracha, To Serve
  • _____
  • FOR THE VINAIGRETTE:
  • 10 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 10 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard

Preparation

1. Rinse and dry the salad greens, either with a paper towel or a salad spinner. Peel and rasp the carrot, using your kitchen rasp and a little bowl.

2. Using another bowl, rasp the cheddar cheese.

3. In a non-stick fry pan, heat up some canola oil and cook the grounded beef. Add some salt, pepper and tomato purée if you like.

4. Place salad, carrots and cheese on your plate. Mix a smooth vinaigrette from vinegar, oil and mustard and add it. Now arrange the beef on your delicious salad and spread some hot sauce over it.

Enjoy!
