Description

A Cozy Kitchen makes a Fresh Strawberry Salad. Check out the original post to get some tips on what to eat in LA!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Fresh Mint
  • 2 cups Strawberries, Quartered

Preparation

Whisk together the lemon juice, honey and mint. Pour over the berries and gently mix together. Allow to marinate for a few minutes, and then enjoy your fresh taste of spring.

Very simple and quick. But everyone at my house preferred the plain strawberries.

I wish there was a way to give this an extra mitt! I am NOT a fan of mint, but decided to trust in the recipe and make it as is. Oh my goodness….such amazing flavors!!! I made this a day ahead of time for a picnic and it was even better than the day that I made it. Just awesome!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for sharing! I’m now off to make another batch of this for ME! :)

There should be a better word to use than “YUMMY” but that’s all I’ve got right now. This was absolutely delightful, I even used not so ripe strawberries and it was still scrumptious. And it’s a cinch to make, nothing more to love…thank you!
