  • 1 package (3 Oz) Regular Or Sugar Free Butterscotch Pudding Mix
  • 1 can (16 Oz) Crushed Pineapple (do Not Drain)

  • 2 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • ½ cups Walnuts Or Pecans (optional)

I just want to add to my review that I took this salad to a Fourth of July celebration last night….it was undoubtedly the hit of the meal!

I made this last night using Gala apples and it turned out pretty well. I expected it to be very sweet but it wasn’t. In the future, I’ll use a variety of apples; I’m thinking Granny Smith, Gala, Braeburn, McIntosh and Pink Lady. I thought it could use more apples, more nuts and less or no marshmellows.

It really does taste like caramel apples! I used Granny Smiths, and they hit the spot. I don’t like nuts, so I didn’t add any, but my husband wants to try some in it next time. He also suggested raisins or mandarin oranges.

Lovely salad! I am not a big pecan or walnut fan so I substituted spanish peanuts! The salad was awesome!

This is a really good salad! It was so easy and everyone loved it. I’ll be making it again and again.

I love this salad! I’ve played around with both tart and sweet apples trying to find the perfect one. I’ve decided it needs one that is in the middle, maybe Gala.
