Description

Unusual combination of broccoli and grapes makes a delicious salad!

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches Broccoli
  • 3 stalks Celery
  • 2 stalks Green Onions
  • 2 cups Green, Seedless Grapes
  • 1-½ cup Purple, Seedless Grapes
  • 3 ounces, weight Bacon Bits
  • 6 ounces, weight Slivered Almonds, Toasted
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ cups Sugar

Preparation

Cut vegetables small. Cut grapes in half.

Mix broccoli, celery, onions and grapes in a large bowl. Last three ingredients are the dressing. Add bacon bits, almonds, and dressing when ready to serve.

This is a unique and delicious side dish. I put it all together at once and put it in the fridge so the broccoli could soften a bit and the flavors could mix.

I have also made a similar salad with raisins. I will have to try it with grapes now. It looks great.

I have made this salad AND eaten it at Tiddleywinks house. It is so good that I could make an entree out of it!
