In a pan over high heat, add olive oil, shallot, garlic and red pepper flakes. Fry for a minute (until garlic becomes fragrant) then add mushrooms. Cook for 4-5 minutes (until mushrooms look golden brown and a little caramelized), then add frisee lettuce. Fry for a minute or two and take off the heat as soon as the frisee becomes slightly wilted. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
