Description

Yummy, Oozy Club Sandwich: ham, cheese, spinach and warm soft-fried egg all blanketed by toasted bread to make the ultimate quick sandwich. Comfort food at its best.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Sandwich Bread
  • 1 whole Egg, Fried
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 slices Ham
  • 5 leaves Lettuce Or Baby Spinach
  • 4 slices Roman Tomatoes
  • 4 slices Havarti Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

Preparation

In hot sauce pan, melt butter and use to fry the egg. Put aside. (Note: fry egg until cooked but yolk should still be soft.)

Keep the sauce pan on the heat, but bring it down to low.

Take the slices of bread and cover with mayonnaise. Then spread ketchup on one slice, and mustard on the other.

Then take and pile on the ham and spinach (or lettuce) on one slice, and then on the other, the slices of tomato, cheese.

Place the fried egg on top, put the slices together, and then cover.

Coat the outside of both slices with a bit of butter and place in the hot sauce pan on the stove. Toast for about 1 minute and then flip, until you have it toasted on both sides.

Take out, place on a plate and cut in half. Let the egg ooze out of it and now eat up!
