I made these tonight and they were wonderful! I did leave out the bacon but they were still fantastic. Thanks for the great recipe!

I have an affinity to the salty/sweet combination of bacon and pineapple, and for sloppy joes. I will be making these really soon. I like using my slow cooker for sloppy joes and I will add the pineapple at the every end so it heats through but not break down.

This was a nice twist on traditional sloppy joes. They tasted even better the second day.

These were fantastic! I am making them for the 2nd time…will cut the brown sugar back just a bit, but won’t change another thing! Thank you for posting!

Very tasty, and a nice change from regular ol’ sloppy joes! I like things a little spicy though, so I added a generous sprinkling of red pepper flakes and a chopped up jalepeno before cooking. Also, I may use ketchup next time instead of the tomato sauce/paste…more convenient, and may add a little “tang” too! Served mine on onion rolls with some homemade mac and cheese and a tomato/cucumber salad. Yum!!
