Description

Quick and easy chicken recipe with just a little bit of zing. You can also make with a salsa instead of a picante sauce. Goes great with rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1-½ cup Picante Sauce Or Salsa
  • 3 Tablespoons Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard

Preparation

Place chicken in a 2-quart baking dish. Mix picante sauce or salsa, sugar, and mustard, and pour mixture over chicken.

Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes, or until chicken is done.

YUM! I made this chicken tonight for dinner and it was really good. I’m one to over cook chicken so am always disappointed how dry it is. What I love about this is even cooking the chicken for close to an hour it was so moist. I made it with Garlic Noodles and green beans on the side. Very good. Thank you for the great recipe!

I was worried that this recipe was going to be bland, but it was delicious. The best part is it’s soo simple to make. I will be making this one again.

I was a bit skeptical to try this recipe at first but it turned out great. The chicken was very moist and it was so easy and quick to make!

We tried this recipe and it is great! Very easy, tasty, and the chicken was so moist! I served it with Rice and carmelled carrots. My husband said that this recipe is a “keeper”. I liked it because I always have the ingredients on hand. Thank you for sharing this.

Excellent dish. Readily available ingredients, nothing challenging about the preparation & the end result was delicious. Not to sweet, not too spicy. Will be making it again….soon.
