Description

Lavash topped with lean turkey sausage and lots of veggies makes for an indulgent, crispy pizza that won’t derail your diet. Simple, healthy, and ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Spicy Italian Turkey Sausage Link, Casing Removed
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 2 whole Multi-Grain Lavash
  • ½ cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Part-skim Shredded Mozzarella, Divided
  • ¼ whole Small Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
  • ¼ whole Red Bell Pepper, Thinly Sliced
  • ¼ whole Yellow Bell Pepper, Thinly Sliced

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 400 F. Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven while it heats.

Place sausage in a pan with the minced garlic. Cook over low heat, breaking up sausage with a spatula, for about five minutes or until the sausage is cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place spinach in a pan with the water and cook over medium heat until just wilted. This should take less than a minute. Remove the spinach from the pan and drain any excess water.

Lay out your lavash on a work surface. Spread each lavash with ¼ cup marinara sauce. Sprinkle each lavash with ¼ cup mozzarella.

Divide the cooked sausage, spinach, onions, and bell peppers among the two pizzas. Top each with ¼ cup mozzarella.

Gently transfer your lavash pizzas to your heated baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbling and lavash is crispy. Slice and serve.
