Description

Whether you use leftover turkey or cooked chicken, this recipe wins applause from everyone!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (10 Oz. Size) Frozen Broccoli
  • 3 cups Cooked Turkey, Diced
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix Or Toasted Bread Crumbs
  • ½ cups French Fried Onion Rings (from A Can), Optional
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 2 cans (10 1/2 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ teaspoons Curry Powder (optional)

Preparation

In a greased 9″ x 12″ baking dish (or equivalent of), layer broccoli and diced turkey, covering the bottom of the dish.

Melt the butter and toss with stuffing mix or toasted bread crumbs. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of crumbs over the broccoli/turkey layer.

Mixing the sauce ingredients together. Pour sauce in an even layer over broccoli/turkey layer.

Top with remaining 1/2 cup stuffing mix/bread crumbs. Optional: top with 1/2 cup French Fried Onion Rings instead of stuffing mix or bread crumbs.

Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes until nicely browned and bubbly.

Notes:
This recipe works well with diced cooked chicken instead of turkey.
Curry powder can be left out without compromising the recipe.
French Fried Onion Rings adds to the taste and creates a crunchy top!
