Description

This chili is healthy and doesn’t lack any flavour. You won’t miss the beef in this recipe.

Ingredients

  • ½ whole Onion, Chopped
  • 2 pounds Extra-Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Diced Green Chilis
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes, Don't Drain
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 can (13 1/2 Oz. Size) No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cans (Use Tomato Sauce Can To Measure) Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Preparation

In a large pot, add onions and meat, sprinkle with garlic powder, and cook until no longer pink. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for about 20 minutes.

Makes 8-10 servings, depending on how big your portions are.
