Description

Tuna cakes are basically salmon patties, but with tuna.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Egg
  • 10 whole Saltine Crackers
  • 5 ounces, weight Can Of Tuna (drained)

Preparation

First, crack the egg into an empty bowl. Add the drained tuna and then crumble the crackers over both. Mix everything together until it’s smooth, like cookie dough.

Separate the mixture into patties. You can do this on a separate plate or just go ahead and put them on the skillet.

The skillet should be placed over medium heat and some butter will help the cakes to not stick.

Place the patties on the skillet and cook for a few minutes, turning when the patties start to brown. Don’t wait too long or they may start to burn.

This meal is very simple and very yummy!
