Description

The light sauce tastes great paired with the cheese in the pasta and the ricotta!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 16 Oz. Size) Cheese Tortellini
  • ½ whole White Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¼ cups Marinara Sauce
  • ½ cups Frozen Peas
  • 2 Tablespoons Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Ricotta

Preparation

Cook tortellini according to package instructions.

Dice onion. Cook onion with olive oil until tender. Add marinara and peas to the pan and cover. Reduce heat and simmer sauce for 8 minutes.

Grate cheese while sauce is cooking. Drain pasta and stir into sauce. Serve with a dollop of ricotta on top and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
