Description

Taco-seasoned ground beef, creamy refried beans, gooey cheese and salsa wrapped in a flaky pizza dough crust!

Ingredients

  • 13-⅞ ounces, weight Can Of Pizza Dough
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1-¼ ounce, weight Envelope Of Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Water
  • 14-½ ounces, weight Can Refried Beans
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Unravel pizza dough from can and place on a greased cookie sheet.

On medium high heat, brown ground beef in a large skillet. Drain fat and then add taco seasoning mix and water. Stir well, bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer 10 minutes.

Press the pizza dough into a 10×14 inch rectangle. With a pizza cutter or knife, cut one-inch strips down along each side of the rectangle.

Down the center of dough, spread the refried beans. On top of the beans spread the ground beef mixture. On the top of the meat, spread out the salsa evenly and then sprinkle all of the cheddar cheese.

Start layering the one-inch strips over the layers, crossing over each other like a braid, making sure to cover the entire mixture. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes and then slice into 6 pieces! Enjoy.

Can’t wait to try it for my family tomorrow! After seeing this I went to your blog to look through your recipes. So many great things on there! I have saved most of them to try myself and I am excited about how my family will love it! Didn’t know where to post on your blog to say that so I came back to this. I will definitely be checking back often! :)
