Description

Here’s a delicious recipe that will have your taste buds tingling.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • ½ cups Onion, Chopped
  • ½ cups Carrot (peeled, Grated)
  • ⅓ cups Celery Finely Chopped
  • ½ cups Green Pepper, Finely Chopped
  • 16 ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes With Garlic And Herbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • ¾ cups Beef Broth
  • ¾ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Tablespoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 pounds Round Steak
  • ¼ cups Canola Oil

Preparation

In a medium skillet heat butter on low until melted. Then add garlic and onion and cook until tender. Add carrots, celery and green pepper and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender. Add diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, wine vinegar and beef broth and bring to boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

Combine flour, salt and pepper on a plate and mix together. Dip steaks in flour making sure to coat both sides.

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil. Then cook steaks in the heated oil for 1 minute or until brown on each side. Drain the oil out of the pan. Cover steaks with the tomato mixture and cook covered on low heat for 1 hour or until steaks are tender.

This is great with potatoes or rice.
