Description

A home-made twist on the fast food favorite! This is DIVINE!

Ingredients

  • 10 whole Chicken Breasts
  • 6 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 8 Tablespoons Water
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ⅔ cups Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 6 teaspoons Grated Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 whole Orange Peel, Grated
  • 10 slices Pinapple

Preparation

1. Preheat your oven to 325F.

2. Combine cornstarch, water, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger, pepper, and orange peel in a mixing bowl. Make sure that all ingredients are fully combined.

3. Place 10 chicken breasts in a 9×13 baking dish. Pour the mixed liquid over the chicken. Be sure to coat it well! (If you feel like you will want more sauce, then just make more to your liking—the more the merrier!)

3. Bake for about 90 minutes at 325F. Check about 40 minutes in and turn the chicken breasts over, so the sauce coats both sides!

4. Pineapple should be sliced in circles and placed over the chicken for the last 5-10 minutes of baking. If you don’t like pineapple, you can certainly use oranges!

5. Serve with rice and enjoy!
