Description

I absolutely love the spicy flavor tempered with sweetness from the molasses and brown sugar!

Ingredients

  • 3-½ pounds Pork Country Style Ribs
  • 6 pieces Chopped Green Onions
  • ¼ cups Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cups Molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoons Bottled Hot Pepper Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Chili Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Red Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Hot, Cooked Rice To Serve

Preparation

Place ribs in a 4-quart slow cooker.

For the sauce, combine all remaining ingredients except rice and mix well. Pour over the ribs, making sure to coat all sides of the ribs.

Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Serve strained sauce over meat and rice.

My family LOVED these ribs! And so easy! I added a little more brown sugar since I was out of molasses…tasted great!

The flavor on these was incredible! The only thing I would say is that I put them in for 8 hours in the slow cooker and I think 6 would probably be ok. The sauce started to burn a little. But they were still DELICIOUS!
