Sweet ‘N Sour Meatloaf

Description
This is an easy, delicious time-tested family favorite. The perfect comfort food that smells and tastes wonderful!
Ingredients
- 1-½ pound Ground Beef, 85% Lean
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs (I Use Progresso Italian)
- 1 whole Onion, Medium, Chopped
- ½ cups Ketchup
- 1 whole Egg, Lightly Beaten
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Ketchup (for The Sauce)
- 2 cups Water (for The Sauce)
- 4 Tablespoons Mustard (for The Sauce)
- 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar (for The Sauce)
- 4 Tablespoons Vinegar (for The Sauce)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, 1/2 cup ketchup, beaten egg and salt and pepper to taste. Form into a loaf and put in a pan large enough to hold the sauce too.
Wisk the remaining 1 cup ketchup, water, mustard, brown sugar, and vinegar. Pour over the meatloaf and bake, uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
