Description

Eat your heart out IKEA! These Swedish Meatballs are perfect to keep you warm during the holidays. The epitome of comfort food. Like a big warm hug of yum.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE MEATBALLS:
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ cups Seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • ½ whole Onion, Minced
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1-½ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1-½ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 cups Egg Noodles
  • 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese, Plus More For Topping
  • ½ cups Chopped Parsley

Preparation

Mix beef, breadcrumbs, onions, egg, salt and pepper together in a large bowl until evenly combined. Roll into 1 ½-inch balls. Heat canola oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and cook the meatballs for 1 minute on each side.

Add broth, milk, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce to the pot. Bring to a boil.

Add egg noodles and stir constantly until noodles are cooked through and sauce has thickened, about 8 minutes. Add Parmesan and parsley. Stir until cheese has melted.

Sprinkle with a little more Parmesan and serve!
