Description

These are no ordinary burgers! Made lighter with ground turkey, these burgers are full of flavor from the roasted red bell peppers and provolone cheese. Top it off with a tasty spread and an unconventional substitute for the ordinary bun, and you’ve got a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Turkey
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • ½ cups Roasted Red Bell Peppers, Chopped
  • 2 slices Provolone Cheese, Diced
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning (plus Extra For Seasoning Your Turkey)
  • 1 package Pepperidge Farms Garlic Toast (package With At Least 8 Slices)
  • 1 whole Large Tomato, Sliced

Preparation

Season the turkey as desired with salt, pepper, and steak seasoning. Mix it up and then form into 8 equal patties.

Chop provolone slices and roasted red bell peppers. Divide into 4 equal portions. In the center of 4 of the patties, place the provolone cheese and peppers. Place remaining 4 patties on top and seal the edges.

Drizzle hot skillet with olive oil. Cook burgers 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

While burgers are cooking, prepare garlic toast according to package directions.

Combine mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon of steak seasoning. Liberally apply mayonnaise mixture to garlic toasts. Top with a burger and sliced tomato. Enjoy!

My whole family loved these. They were super easy to throw together. I really liked the parmesan mayo, and the garlic toast was a great idea!
