This was delicious! The only thing I did different was halfing the peppers from stem to bottom instead of cutting the tops off. I also used dried basil because I didn’t have the fresh stuff.
But, this was so so good. Different than the stuffed peppers I’m use to, but in an exciting way.

My husband has been asking me to make stuffed peppers for years and I have always put it off because I’m not much of a fan….When I saw this recipe I decided I would finally give it a try. Wow! Not only am I a convert, my stuffed-pepper starved man raved that these were the absolute best he has ever tasted. The only change I made was to saute a diced jalapeno with the onions to add a little heat. DELICIOUS!

I have made this recipe 3 times now and we just love it! I also halve the peppers from stem to bottom instead of cutting the tops off. I can fit them all in a 13×9 dish, it’s a tight fit but I manage to squeeze them in. All in all, an excellent dish that I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this recipe! I used a mix of ground beef and pork instead of chicken. Also tossed in chopped mushrooms and peppers to the cream sauce. Very tasty, thanks for sharing.

YUM! Excellent! Made with lean beef and half & half because that is what I had on hand. Will make again and again, especially if my pepper plants keep producing.
