Description

Beef and cheese stuffed jumbo shells that come together quickly and taste like you were cooking all day!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pasta Sauce, Store-bought Or Homemade, Divided Use
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ whole Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 5 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1-½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 8 ounces, weight Frozen Spinach, Thawed & Drained
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Italian Diced Tomatoes, Drained
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella/provolone Mix
  • 16 ounces, weight Box Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 8 ounces, weight Block Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 13×9 inch pan with cooking spray.

Spread 1 cup of sauce evenly on bottom of baking dish.

Boil water in a large pot. Add pasta shells and cook according to box directions. Drain.

While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain. Turn heat off. Add Italian seasoning, spinach, diced tomatoes, and mozzarella/provolone mix. Scoop filling into shells.

Line filled shells in the baking dish. Pour remaining cup of pasta sauce over shells. Cut block of mozzarella cheese into 7-8 long strips. Lay strips over all shells.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until shells are heated and cheese is melted.
