Description

Baked chicken stuffed with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and bacon bits.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Cream Cheese (I Used The Stuff That Had Chives And Onions In It)
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled, Or Bacon Bits, Plus More For Topping
  • 3 whole Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts

Preparation

Step 1) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2) Combine your 1/4 of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and 1 tbsp of Bacon or bacon bits in a bowl. Save your cheese and bacon bits for later.

Step 3) Prepare your boneless, skinless chicken breasts the way you usually do (I know some people like to rinse their chicken or now would be a good time to add salt and pepper).

Step 4) Cut a nice-sized slit in your chicken breasts (breast side up) about 2-3 inches long, depending on the size of your chicken, without cutting all the way through. Place sliced chicken in a pan or dish that can be used in the oven.

Step 5) Stuff each chicken breast with 1/3 of your cream cheese mixture.

Step 6) Sprinkle on the rest of your cheese, bacon/bacon bits and salt and pepper, if desired.

Step 7) Place in oven for 25-30 minutes or until cheese and chicken are golden brown.

Enjoy!!

I made this and it was wonderful! I used plain cream cheese, and it was delicious. This is definitely going into my rotation.

I tried this and it was so good! I added some sauteed onions and mushrooms on top of the cheese mixture, because my husband loves mushrooms. It turned out really well, and the onion and chive cream cheese was a great tip.
