Description

These chops are so flavorful and easy. Everything cooks in one dish and the soy and dijon create a wonderfully flavorful gravy!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Pork Chops
  • 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 5 ounces, weight Mushrooms, Sliced (1/2 Container)
  • ½ whole Onion (cut Into Thin Strips)
  • 1 whole Green Pepper (cut Into Thin Strips)
  • ¼ cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 pinch Salt To Taste
  • 1 pinch Ground Pepper To Taste

Preparation

Mix together the soy sauce, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl to make a marinade. Add all the chops and let them sit in the marinade for 5 to 10 minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and saute the chops over medium high heat until they are golden brown on both sides.

Add the mushrooms, onions and green peppers to the pan with the chops and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

Pour all the remaining marinade into the pan, cover the pan and reduce the heat to medium. Let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until all the veggies are thoroughly cooked and the sauce has thickened.

Remove lid, sprinkle shredded cheese all over the chops and cook for 1 to 2 minutes more or until all the cheese is melted.

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. The marinade turns into a wonderfully flavorful gravy!

LOVED THIS! I used reduced sodium soy sauce and didn’t add any additional salt, it was delicious!

These were great!! I have made them twice, and cut down the soy sauce the second time and replaced it with some dry white wine because my boyfriend doesnt really like too much salt. Great both times!
