Description

Simple, delicious, and healthy stir-fry!

Ingredients

  • ½ pounds Tilapia
  • 3 Tablespoons Light Olive Oil
  • 1 whole Shallot, Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • ½ pounds Asparagus
  • Salt And Pepper

Preparation

1. Salt and pepper fish slices to taste.
2. Heat skillet to medium-high, add 3 Tablespoons of olive oil.
3. Fry fish till golden brown on both sides, then remove from heat. Set fish aside.
4. In the same oil, add shallots and fry till tender.
5. Add crushed red pepper.
6. Add chopped garlic and fry till fragrant.
7. Throw in the asparagus, salt and pepper to taste.
8. After 1 minute, add the fish and warm everything through. Serve immediately with rice. Awesome!

Tips: After adding asparagus, do not overcook it. A little al dente, retains the color and taste. Bon appetite!

We loved this! I took Jessica’s advice and marinated it in soy sauce for about 30 min beforehand and added some yellow pepper when I added the asparagus. It was a perfect healthy dinner for us!!

I made this for dinner tonight and added some mushrooms and it was really tasty! My husband, who usually doesn’t like fish if it’s not breaded and fried, really liked it and wants me to make it again!

Made this this evening- delicious and super easy! We marinated the fish in a bit of soy sauce while doing prep work, just to give it a little bit of flavor… Perfect!

I took a chance and made this for dinner. My boyfriend hates fish but loves asparagus. This turned out awesome! It’s super spicy, which was great and super easy to make which was even better. Thanks!

Making this again for the second time tonight, it is kid and adult friendly…a perfect meal! I took another reviewers suggestion last time to marinate it in soy sauce first and it helps add flavor, will be doing it again. I substituted green beans for the asparagus, threw in red peppers and corn! Delicious!

I haven’t eaten anything from the water since I was a little girl. But I’m prego and figured I should try it again for the baby.

The hubby is a big fan of tilapia. We tried this recipe & added squash & a little Weber’s lemon pepper seasoning. Oh my! I wouldn’t say I’m a lover of water creatures, but I am now a fan of tilapia cooked this way. So good! Great recipe.
