Description

Is it spaghetti? Is it lasagna? It’s Spasagna!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 jar (24 Oz. Size) Garlic Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
  • ½ cups Milk, 2% Or Higher
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 jar (24 Oz. Size) Your Favorite Spaghetti Sauce
  • Parmesan Cheese, To Serve

Preparation

Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Rinse cooked noodles under cold water and drain very well.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, combine alfredo sauce, mozzarella, milk, oregano and parsley. Stir well to combine. Add cooked spaghetti noodles and toss to coat them completely.

Place entire mixture into the baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes.

While it cooks, start browning your ground beef in a medium sauce pan. Once beef is brown and crumbled, drain well to remove excess grease. Over low heat, add spaghetti sauce and mix. Put a cover over the sauce pan and allow the mixture to keep warm until pasta is ready.

After pasta is finished cooking, remove foil and allow to cool for 8-10 minutes (unless you are completely impatient like me). Then you just cut out a slice and pour spaghetti sauce mixture on top, sprinkle with a bit of Parmesan cheese if you like, and then dig in. I should warn you: if you don’t allow the mixture to cool a bit before slicing, it can get just a bit runny on you, but the taste is still fantastic!

Cook’s note: This makes great leftovers (like most pasta dishes). Also, if you have time, try making the garlic alfredo sauce and spaghetti sauce from scratch.

AMAZING! My 15 year old said “best new favorite dinner now!” My picky 8 year old eater gobbled it up too! Everyone loved it. We have 2 adults and 3 kids and ended up with 1/2 pan left. Guess what we are having for dinner tomorrow? Ha!

Have you ever done this as a freezer meal? Would you keep the spaghetti and sauce separate if you did freeze? Thanks!

This was DELICIOUS! I added onions to my hamburger and some garlic. Used Paul Newmans Garlic Alfredo Sauce and pasta sauce. Will definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe :)

I made this tonight for the first time and all four of us had to have seconds. It was delicious! The fact that all four of us (we have a picky eater) give it a thumbs up is a rare thing. It will be going into my favorites!

I made this on Christmas. It was for the kids, supposedly, but everyone loved it! Very simple and oh-so-good!

OMG! This recipe is ridiculously AWESOME!!! There are just no words to tell you how much you will enjoy this recipe! I have no doubt I will be making this recipe again and again!

I bought Alfredo sauce without garlic (thanks Publix BOGO) but added garlic and onion to the hamburger in the spaghetti sauce to offset the lack of garlic in the Alfredo sauce.

Served with steamed green beans and frozen garlic bread. The resting time of the pasta gives ample time to prepare garlic bread or other item you wish to compliment this wonderful dish.

I have looked at this recipe for months and finally found the opportunity to prepare. Please don’t wait! Prepare this delicious meal and enjoy! Thank you so very, very much for posting!

This was great! It fed my family of 5 and we had leftovers for the next night, which is great when we are busy running around.
