A easy chicken dish with great southwestern flavors. Other cuts of chicken work just as well. You can also grill this dish and it comes out great!
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Dry the chicken and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
Place drumsticks in a 9″x13″ baking dish.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour sauce over drumsticks. Make sure to turn them in the sauce to get an even coating.
Cover your dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and turn your drumsticks over. Bake about another 35-40 minutes, basting with the pan juices often.
Serve hot for best flavor.

This is a very good I would say excellent recipe! I did not have jalapeno hot sauce, I had habanero, hot sauce and I increased the garlic, cause I love garlic, otherwise I just followed the recipe. It tasted wonderful! I served this with grits, and goat cheese and an avocado, cilantro, green, onion, salad with slices of lime! This was an amazing and satisfying meal! Really easy to put together and impress some good friends. I will surely, serve it again and again!
