Description

This dip is always a popular item at any type of gathering. I brought this to my in-laws for the first time this past Christmas and it was gone in 30 minutes! Unbelievable!

Ingredients

  • 1 box (24 Oz. Box, 16 Slices) Steak-Umms Or Equivalent
  • 1 whole Large Onion, Chopped
  • 1 whole Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 jar Cheez Whiz (8 Ounce Jar)
  • 1 block Velveeta Cheese (1 Pound Block)

Preparation

Cook Steak-Umms until brown. While cooking, tear the slices into smaller pieces using two spatulas. Drain grease and add to a crock pot on high. Chop both the bell pepper and onion; saute in olive oil until onions are translucent. Add to the crock pot. Cut the Velveeta into cubes and add both cheeses to the crock pot and let melt, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once cheese is melted, it’s ready to be served!

Serving suggestions: toasted baugette slices and veggies.
