Description

Cranberry and turkey. Best friends!

Ingredients

  • Non-stick Cooking Spray
  • 3 pounds Turkey Breast, Fresh Or Thawed From Frozen (Can Go Up To 5 Lbs., If It Fits In Your Slow Cooker)
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 can Jellied Cranberry Sauce (16 Oz.)
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix (1 Oz.)

Preparation

Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.

Rub turkey breast generously with salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker.

In a small bowl, combine cranberry sauce and dry onion soup mix. Pour over turkey breast.

Cover. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Enjoy!

I think that would work just fine! Maybe add a little orange zest for more flavor. I have done that with the recipe, before.

I can just imagine tasting this recipe… so good! Love the idea of the slow cooker so the turkey will melt in your mouth! Gotta try this soon. Do you think if I substituted a no sugar jelly like raspberry it would taste the same or sort of close? I’m a diabetic and the cranberry sauce may put my sugar levels over the top. What do you think Cookin Mary?

This tasted delicious right out of the crockpot, but we found it was even better as sandwich meat the next day! So good and perfect for a turkey dinner on a weeknight! Thanks!
