Description

Yes, you can make ribs in a slow cooker! And YES, they taste fantastic! So go ahead, try it. You’re going to love them.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack Baby Back Ribs
  • 2 Tablespoons Paprika
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Cayenne Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Fresh Ground Pepper
  • 1-½ cup BBQ Sauce

Preparation

First slice your rack of ribs into 3 or 4 pieces so that they’ll fit nicely into your crockpot.

Next mix together the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, brown sugar, salt and pepper to make a rub. Rub this all over your ribs on both sides.

Lean the ribs against the side of the cooker with the meatier side on the outside. Pour the BBQ sauce all over the ribs to coat them.

Turn your crockpot on low and let your ribs cook for 7 hours. If I’m home when I’m cooking them then I like to turn them a little part way through. I usually flip them upside down.

They’ll be falling off the bones when they’re ready. Enjoy!!

sometimes you think food has to be done a certain way, like ribs should be finished off on the grill after baking for hours. BUT this was really really great done this way, everyone loved them, and it was a lot less work. I am making them again right now!!
